Tuolumne County, CA – A heavy gear forklift crash in Twain Harte northwest of Freeway 108 in Tuolumne County will trigger journey delays.

The wreck occurred round 5 p.m. on South Fork Highway. CHP spokesperson Faustino Pulido reported that 58-year-old Larry Barr of Twain Harte was driving a Manitou MRT 2150 Privilege Plus, which is a rotating all-terrain telehandler forklift. Pulido detailed that the massive forklift was southbound on the roadway approaching Manny Marshall Drive when Barr pulled onto the shoulder to permit an oncoming car to move. He added that the right-side wheels went into smooth grime inflicting it to overturn and roll over a number of instances down an embankment about 15 ft.

That part of the roadway should be closed to take away the wreckage. Pulido says the shutdown will likely be between 8:30 and 11:30 a.m. and go away residents north of that space unable to exit throughout that point, as two heavy-duty tow vans retrieve the forklift.

Fortunately, Barr was not harm within the crash.
