STAFF at a Warrington distribution centre tackled a fireplace themselves early right this moment – and had extinguished it by the point firefighters reached the scene.
The blaze was at premises at Hardwick Grange, Woolston shortly earlier than 4am and concerned a forklift truck.
Fireplace crews from Birchwood and Lymm discovered the fireplace – which was out once they arrived – had concerned the forklift truck battery.
The crews used a hose reel jet to dampen down the realm after which used a thermal imaging digicam to examine for any hotspots.
They had been detained on the scene for round two hours.
