ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) – WALB Information 10 has simply discovered of a demise 10 days in the past at an Albany tractor store.
Officers verify that there was a forklift accident that took the lifetime of Calvin Litt Jr., 32, on the morning of Sept. 24 close to the Procter and Gamble plant off U.S. 19 in Albany.
Coroner Michael Fowler mentioned that Litt‘s accidents had been per a forklift accident and that the reason for demise was blunt pressure trauma.
“The incident didn’t happen on the P&G plant, however occurred at a tractor store run by one other firm. The person was not a P&G worker,” mentioned Mandy Ciccarella, a P&G spokesperson.
“OSHA initiated a fatality inspection on the Procter & Gamble facility in Albany on 09/24/2021 with Sodexo, Inc., a contractor working on the location,” OSHA mentioned in an announcement obtained Monday by WALB.
OSHA is investigating.
